LIZARD LOUNGE
The newly refurbished Lizard Lounge is available for use by all FYB students on Level 5, Carslaw Building (Room 507) It is open during semester from 9 - 4.45 Monday – Thursday and 9 – 12 on Friday.
The Lizard Lounge is equipped with 8 Macintosh computers, which allow access to the internal University Intranet. You can access your MyUni account, USyd emails, WebCT, the VLE, and library catalogue and databases.
Microsoft Office Applications are available for assignment preparation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Please note: there are no printing facilities in the Lizard Lounge.
Materials available for use in the Lizard Lounge include:
- Textbooks and CD ROMS of learning materials
- Microscopes, microscope slides and card games from previous practical classes
- Occasional reading material as background for lecture, practical classes and reports.
- Lab Manuals and food charts
These may be borrowed by leaving your student card with Sarah Newell (room 512) or Katie Jakes (room 513).
